Plant-eating dinosaurs did not eat grass, because there wasn't any, so it is thought. During the Mesozoic Era, when the dinosaurs lived, conifers - cone-bearing trees and shrubs - dominated the landscape. They included redwoods, yews, pines, palms, cypress and the monkey puzzle tree. Flowering plants and grass evolved only later.
By the way, a plant does not look like its parents, but will always resemble its grandparents

Dottie Rambo
Dottie Rambo... so petite but so HUGE in talent! Her songs touch millions. I think she is gospel music's greatest treasure!
No one has to be around me for very long to know that Dottie Rambo is my favorite gospel artist ever! I remember as a young teenager buying every Rambos album I could get and many times just going into my bedroom, closing the door and enjoying listening to them! A time I will never forget was January of 1969. For Christmas in 1968, a friend of mine who knew I loved Dottie's music got tickets to take me to see the Singing Rambos in person in Columbus, Ohio. I will never forget it! Many years later, my husband and I were in Branson, Missouri, and we were privileged again to see Dottie in concert. Although the back problems have really limited her lifestyle, she was still so full of life!

Urbana City Council Approves Residential Recycling Program (video)
Wednesday, 12 March 2008
At its March 11 meeting, the Urbana City Council voted unanimously to levy a $3.62 monthly fee for all one and two unit residences. The fee will fund an anticipated three year contract with Waste Management of Fairborn for weekly curbside collection of recyclable waste. The new monthly fee will be assessed whether or not the occupant chooses to participate in the recycling program. Residents may still choose a trash hauler of their choice for non-recyclable waste collection.

The agreement comes after 10 months of exploring "strategic alternatives" and will "maximize shareholder value."
In these current economic hard times you would think that our Urbana City Council would make every effort to help us lower our household expenses. In front of the Urbana City Council this month is a plan to have Pay As You Throw (PAYT) garbage billing.
